Become a Volunteer!

February 10, 2015

Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool relies heavily on a network of volunteers. The main areas for volunteer work are Reception and Pool Lifeguard but we do have opportunities to help out in Administration, Gardening, Maintenance. All our volunteers are given training free of charge in return for 2 hours a week commitment.

If you live in or around the Tadcaster area and can spare a couple of hours a week, then we would love to hear from you.

Lifeguards must complete the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). At Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool we offer training toward this qualification all year round, plus with the added benefit of it being FREE!
